1. Overview

Portfolio is operated by Junotech Sol in Pakistan ("Portfolio", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit or use our websites, portfolio tools, job-discovery features, employer and recruiter workspaces, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not provide personal information or use the Service.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to visitors, candidates, portfolio owners, employers, recruiters, organization members, and other users of the Service. It does not govern third-party websites or services linked from Portfolio, which have their own privacy practices.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide. Depending on how you use the Service, this may include:

• account details such as your name, email address, password, role, and verification information;
• professional profile and portfolio information, including your biography, location, photograph, skills, education, experience, projects, services, testimonials, social links, availability, and contact details;
• job-search and application information, including application answers, cover messages, employment history, qualifications, and uploaded CVs or resumes;
• employer and organization information, including company name, description, branding, location, website, job listings, team membership, and recruitment activity;
• messages, support requests, feedback, reports, and other communications you send through the Service.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we may receive IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, viewed pages, dates and times, approximate location derived from IP address, session identifiers, error logs, security events, and interactions such as profile views, project views, resume downloads, and contact clicks.

Information from others. Employers, recruiters, organization owners, candidates, referral sources, or service providers may give us information where permitted. For example, an organization owner may invite a recruiter, or a candidate may identify a previous employer in a portfolio.

4. How We Use Information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

• create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
• build, publish, host, and share portfolios and professional profiles;
• publish job listings and enable candidates to discover and apply for roles;
• allow authorized employer and recruiter team members to review and manage applications;
• deliver transactional messages, verification codes, invitations, application updates, support responses, and service notices;
• personalize settings and measure Service performance and feature usage;
• detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
• debug, maintain, improve, and develop the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect users, Junotech Sol, and others.

Where applicable law requires a particular legal basis, we process information based on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Public Profiles and Recruitment

Information included in a published portfolio or public profile can be viewed by anyone, indexed by search engines, copied, or shared outside Portfolio. You should publish only information you are comfortable making public. Unpublishing or deleting content from Portfolio may not remove copies already indexed, cached, or saved by others.

When you apply for a job, your application and related documents are shared with the employer and its authorized organization members or recruiters. Those recipients make their own recruitment decisions. Employers must use applicant information only for legitimate, lawful recruitment purposes and remain responsible for their independent handling of that information.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information:

• At your direction: when you publish a portfolio, apply for a job, share a profile link, or contact another user;
• Within employer organizations: to owners, administrators, and authorized recruiters who manage jobs and applications;
• To service providers: companies supporting hosting, storage, email delivery, security, diagnostics, analytics, and other operations, subject to appropriate obligations;
• For legal and safety reasons: where reasonably necessary to comply with law or process, enforce our terms, investigate misuse, or protect rights, safety, systems, and property;
• During a business transaction: in connection with a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential sessions, authentication, security, preferences, and, where enabled, performance measurement. Some cookies are necessary for the Service to work. Please see our Cookie Policy for more information and available controls.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including while your account is active and as needed for security, backup recovery, dispute resolution, enforcement, and legal or recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and sensitivity of information and the reason it is held.

When information is no longer required, we will delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs until their normal deletion cycle completes.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting your credentials, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can review or update much of your account and portfolio information through your dashboard and can control whether your portfolio is published. Depending on applicable law and subject to lawful exceptions, you may ask us to provide access to, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or object to certain processing.

To submit a request, email support@junotechsol.co. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may retain information where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or enforcement.

11. International Processing

Our infrastructure and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection rules. Where required, we take reasonable steps intended to protect information transferred or processed across borders.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and users must also meet any higher minimum age required by the law where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who cannot lawfully use the Service. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here, update its effective date, and provide additional notice where appropriate. Material changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
